![]() ![]() You have no idea if the package contains malicious payloads, you don t know if it has been extensively tested on a large number of systems with different specs. You install a third party "Mod" or "trainer", created by someone you don't, whose intentions on publishing the files you don't know. they are not made or Published by Hinterland. If you play on the harder difficulties my code is probably extremely timid in comparison because I have pulled a lot of settings way back because the higher difficulties surpass real life in many ways. The main issue I see with using third party or home-brewed cheats and hacks is. I don't know if you know people who live in areas like In the game but people who live in that also have an insane tolerance to the cold as opposed to people who live down south. I went from full warmth to full freezing in about 6 or 7 in game hours on timberwolf but I spawned in the morning with clear weather. I can't say however that I've tested it in -26 with little clothing. In real life you can have very little clothing on and hike through sub 30° weather for quite a long time before straight up losing bits of essence of your life like in game, not saying it would be comfortanble or that you would enjoy it but you could. Especially since the game doesn't take into account the body heat that gets built up inside of your layers while doing strenuous tasks such as hiking or chopping wood. Being that I've been to places IRL where it gets below zero and know a few people who live in places where it's sub 30° at any given time of the year its pretty unrealistic to me how quickly you can freeze on the other difficulty settings while wearing full gear. ![]() Pretty sure the rate at which you freeze is set to the same as it is on pilgrim. I was playing on Timberwolf earlier and i still had to keep a fire going to stay alive up there in the mountainers cabin. You get the general idea, not the most challenging settings for TLD obviously but it's for realism so enjoy if you will! Oh also random spawn and time. Food, water and energy consumption is on low which I believe to be more accurate for realisim than other options. Fish on very high and rabbits on high, animals won't disappear over time as one person would find it hard to depopulate an entire island of a single species berore they could repopulate. ![]() Sticks, rocks and plants are set very high, deer and moose to medium bear and wolves to low. Condition recovers slowly like it would IRL. Animals are non aggressive as it is not normal for most animals especially wolves to attack humans but they will do good damage if you happen to provoke them. These two are what I imagine to be as realistic as possible in the scenario the player is in, the only difference between the two is one has a item spawn chance of high and the other medium if you find one to produce to much or to little loot.
